Meet the Mares: Blackie

Pics Bar Bee, “Blackie,” is a black 2002 daughter of Pic Remedy, an own son of Doc’s Remedy, out of a Willie War Chic bred mare. This mare has many greats on her papers including Doc Bar, Teresa Tivio, Sugar Vandy, War Chic, and Deck Oiler to name some. She is bred for performance and run and has that look. Very keen head, square body, and a great personality. Blackie loves attention and is easy to be around. With a pedigree like Blackie’s it would be hard to go wrong to add her to the herd. Blackie color tested as a true black, a/a, but heterozygous main and tail black, E/e.

KT Docs Showdown, “Pecos,”

KT Docs Showdown, “Pecos,” is a fancy 2016 colt by Just Plain Starlight and out of Docs Peppy Anna. Docs Peppy Anna is by Little Peppy Conger who is an NCHA money earner of $9,184.08. He has his NCHA Certificate of Ability, 1993 NWCHA Reserve Champion Open Horse LTE over $25,000. He is a son of Peppy San Badger. Little Peppy Conger’s dam is Patty Solano has won $5,520.53 in NCHA and has won her COA. KT Gunners Jitter Bug

KT Gunners Jitter Bug is out of Continental Lady Bug and is by KT Gunpowder N Lead. Gunner is a roan dunskin son of Cue Bars Laddie, AQHA point earning and producing stallion. Gunner’s dam, Pistol, has been shown NFQHA, has been featured on rule book and in the NFQHA magazine. She is a great working ranch horse, rope horse, and the kids can ride her as well. Pistol’s sire, Gold Country Charro is a dunskin stallion that was shown in 1998 and 1999 in halter at local shows. KT One Tuff Jag

KT One Tuff Jag is out of A Tuff Edition and by Captains Double Coy, “Double.” Double is one of our senior stallions, his foals have an outstanding disposition, are easy to break and are really cowy, and are great using horse for any arena. His breeding includes Major Bonanza, Alotta King, Jaguar and more. Tuffy is a very pretty dun mare with lots of chrome. 14.2 hands tall and a combination of cow horse and running horse. Top side is Continental and bottom side is Breeze Bar. She throws chrome and big bone. KT Duallin Pistols

KT Duallin Pistols is a fancy dun colt out of Tessas Poco Penny and by KT Gunpowder N lead. Tessa is a dun daughter of The Dualler, winner of over $7,000 NCHA and sire of NCHA Champions and NRCHA Money Earners. On the bottom side Tessa goes back to Sonnys OO Buck, Docs Adonis and Poco Bueno. This is a really lovely dun mare. She has an amazing disposition, great legs and feet and good bone. KT Hollywood Cad

KT Hollywood Cad is a charming colt out of Continental Piper, “Piper D,” and is by Doll Docsan, “Leroy.” Leroy is a stallion with a performance packed pedigree along with a very good disposition. He was a very smooth ride with tremendous talent, beautiful movement and huge stop. He was quiet and trainable which he passes along to his foals; he consistently produces fantastic foals with looks, color, conformation and brains. Leroy was unshown due to a wire cut injury that took a long time to heal; it happened just before hitting the showpen as a 3 year old and as a result he was turned out to the studpen. Leroy has produced 1 foal that has NRHA earnings. He also has a 3 year old competing in Western Dressage, was 3rd in Canada in July 2016 and has racked up more 1st place finishes since then. He is sired by Dolls Union Jac- ROM, NRHA earnings, and sired foals that have earnings in excess of $310,000.00 in NRHA, as well as earnings in NRCHA, Buckskin Assoc., and the AQHA world show. Leroy’s dam is Docsan Jeany who has produced foals with earnings in excess of $3700.00 and AQHA point earners. Leroy is also double registered with NFQHA at 92%. Piper D is a daughter of AQHA point earner Continental Cad. Piper D is a stunning red dun mare that has elegance, size, and breeding with Zip It Up as her maternal grandsire and Snipper Reed on her papers. This young mare is heterozygous dun.
