This sharp bay gelding is by NZ Scotch Time “Rip,” a proven money earner in the heeling, barrels, and a versatile ranch horse that’s stepping into the heading and cowhorse arenas. Rip brings size, brains, and a solid, willing disposition—everything you want in a performance sire.
On the bottom side, he’s out of KT A Benelli Girl, a big, eye-catching mare with a strong performance background. She’s been used in both roping and barrels and is currently being brought back into shape to rope off of again. This is a mare that’s proven and producing.
Pedigree here runs deep—this gelding traces back to Dry Spec a Pepper (1986 Eastern Idaho QH Assn. Senior Cutting Champion) and the legendary Dry Doc (NCHA Futurity Champion & Hall of Fame). Add in Cue Bars Laddie, an AQHA All-Around Champion and CCHA Hall of Fame horse, and you’ve got generations of real, functional ability stacked behind him.
He is also a ¾ brother to KT Gunz for Chics “Glo,” making this a proven cross.

We wrapped up a great week at the Spokane Jr Show and now we’re rolling right into another one — headed to Ellensburg for the Jr Angus show this weekend. We’ve still got a handful of mares left to foal, so the mom and the men are holding down the fort while we’re gone.

Some horses leave a mark you don’t forget… and Dude was one of them. We lost him two winters ago, but he’s still very much a part of what we’re building every day.

Dude was a stallion we proudly kept out of Zink—a horse that stood out from the start. He had those unique white markings, that rich golden color, and the kind of look that turned heads everywhere he went. Big bone, big hip, a pretty head, and most importantly—a winning, kind disposition.

He was started by Jordan Crabtree in Ferndale, WA, and was the kind every trainer appreciates—quiet, willing, and easy to get along with. Just a good-minded, honest horse.

At 88% NFQHA, Dude carried the kind of foundation breeding we value. He was a grandson of Pana Dude, with influence from Sheza Major Star and John Zink—a pedigree built on versatility, durability, and cow sense.

And he’s still proving himself where it counts most—his foals.
We’ve got babies hitting the ground by Dude, and they’ve been big, stout, good-minded foals with size, presence, and great personalities. The kind you enjoy being around and look forward to watching grow up.
