I don’t have much to add after yesterday’s Thursday Thoughts, so today we’re celebrating just how awesome Jexy and Tylar are doing!
Tylar received all the professional pictures of Jexy, and they were too good not to share. These two have become quite the team!
Over the weekend, Jexy and Tylar competed in four events at the State Finals Games and had a great showing. They placed:

🕯️ And won two candles!
We’re pretty darn proud of both of them. Jexy is looking fantastic, Tylar is doing a great job with him, and it’s a lot of fun watching their hard work come together.

Thursday Thoughts from Kellie
Thursday Thoughts is going to be a little weak this week because I’ve been at the Benton Franklin Fair all week with Toni, Kade and Jaxsen.
Meanwhile, we left Mom, Dad, Ben, Kicker and Kaine at home to handle all the chores on top of their regular full-time jobs. I’m sure they’re thrilled with us. Anna also went back to the University of Idaho, which gets a big blah from me. Not the school, the fact that she is not at home.
Since today is Thursday, if you haven’t made it to the fair yet, you missed watching Kade show for the final time at Benton Franklin.
The good news is that you can still watch him show at CBJLS—for free—or at the Othello Fair. He is saving the steer he considers his best for Othello, so there is still more to come. He showed my favorite here.
You also missed watching Jaxsen show, but thankfully, you can catch him again next year.
You haven’t missed everything, though! Kade’s steer sells tomorrow. He is out of our cow Foxxy and by Trump Train, and we would love to see you at the sale. It starts tomorrow morning, so come support these hardworking kids and the livestock they have spent months raising.
Full disclosure: I wrote this before fair started—but I am SURE we had a great week. That is positive thinking…or tempting fate. We’ll find out.

She may have been born on April Fool’s Day, but this is no joke—SJ is one fancy mare!
KT Sugar on Point, better known as “SJ,” combines cow horse ability, athleticism, speed, and eye appeal in one unique dun package. Her single spot only adds to her unmistakable look.
SJ’s dam, Miss Hollowpoint (“Shorty”), is a stocky, attractive mare by NCHA money earner Young Gun. Young Gun earned $34,749 and sired offspring with earnings exceeding $1.9 million. He is a son of the legendary Freckles Playboy and out of Lenaette, an NCHA earner of $35,640 and recipient of an NCHA Certificate of Ability and Bronze Award.
Shorty’s pedigree also includes Cal Bal Blues, a son of Cal Dinky and grandson of Cal Bar.
