KT Major Sunshine is fancy 2004 palomino mare out of Kathys Sonny Dee to, a Sonny Dee Bar Too mare, and Zinks Major Kid. Anna picked Shinny to keep when she was just a toddler, since we still had her we must have wanted to keep her too. Shinny was featured on the cover of the AQHA Journal. We have shown her in-hand trail at the NFQHA show in Ellensburg. This is a great mare that the kids all love, she has a great disposition. 87% NFQHA

Meet the Mares: Goldy
KT Roths Golden Girl, Goldy, is a really 2004 mare out of Zinks Major Kid and PDQ Rikki Tikki Lee, “Sissy,” that we have kept to use on the ranch. She is Ben’s pick to ride. She is a very versatile mare that Toni took to the Othello fair and she was shown halter and western equitation and Ben uses her to rope and general ranch work. Recently we added her to the brood mare band and now she is producing some outstanding foals that are very versatile and easy on the eyes.
Meet the Mare: Twiggy
Watch Miss ID, “Twiggy,” is a daughter of ID Watch, a red roan AQHA stallion that has earned his ROM. Twiggy’s breeding also includes Two Eyed Jack on her papers, Watch Joe Jack, Mr. Baron Red, and Do Jack. Twiggy is a very friendly, moderate framed mare that produces some great performance prospects. She is a favorite to visitors coming out, she loves attention and have very personable foals that are fancy.

Taris Smart Fortune, “Lola” was professionally trained by Scott Martin. She is an own daughter of Tari Smart, who has won over $12,000 NCHA. Her peidgree also includes Smart Little Lena, Peppy San, Freckles Playboy, and Smokin Jose. Slide Me A Baileys is a 2002 smutty buckskin mare out of Slide On Bartender. Bailey is a very pretty, feminine mare that has a strong performance top side, crossed with a great foundation bottom. Her size, bone, and muscle expression are the perfect combination of both. Bailey was ranch ridden and used in the roping pen before becoming a broodmare. Bailey’s sire, Slide on Bartender was a buckskin stallion with both AQHA points in reining and some championships under his belt. Slide on Bartender was an own son of Shining Spark out of a Two Id Bartender daughter. Bailey’s bottom side includes rope horses deluxe, featuring some of the greats like Jimeny Jumpup, Maverick Coke, Grey Badger II, Waggoner, and many others. Meet the Mares: Shadie
A Little Shadie Chic is a dark palomino mare that has been shown on the reining circuit, specifically NRHA taking home the 2006 Reserve Regional Experience Reining Region One. This mare continued her show career earning multiple points. Shadie continued to take young people to the show ring until becoming a broodmare. Shadie is an own daughter of Comandalena who has earned over $143,000.00 and 260.5 points. On the bottom side Shadie is a granddaughter of A Little Shady Jac, earner of $17,715.86 in NRHA and AQHA points. Doc Tom Tucker, Hollywood Jac 86, Fritz Command, and Smart Little Lena are on Shadie’s papers. Shadie is 5 panel neg and carries one creme gene.

Tessas Poco Penny is a dun daughter of The Dualler and she is out of a Sonnys OO Buck, Docs Adonis, Poco Bueno bred mare. This is a really nice dun mare with an awesome disposition, great legs and feet and good bone. She is a quick mover and throws foals that are real contenders. Tessa loves attention, and as many people know that have been out, if you pet her once she you are friend for life and she will follow you around and never let you go. NFQHA eligible.

Pics Bar Bee, “Blackie,” is a black 2002 daughter of Pic Remedy, an own son of Doc’s Remedy, out of a Willie War Chic bred mare. This mare has many greats on her papers including Doc Bar, Teresa Tivio, Sugar Vandy, War Chic, and Deck Oiler to name some. She is bred for performance and run and has that look. Very keen head, square body, and a great personality. Blackie loves attention and is easy to be around. With a pedigree like Blackie’s it would be hard to go wrong to add her to the herd. Blackie color tested as a true black, a/a, but heterozygous main and tail black, E/e.

Pollys Leagurette, “Freida” is a 2001 daughter out of Peppys Major Leaguer. Peppys Major Leaguer has his ROM with 83 AQHA points in reining. He was also shown halter and cowhorse. Peppys Major Leaguer has NRHA earnings of $12,824.98 and has qualified for the World show multiple times. He has lifetime earnings over $25,000.00 and was the Open Champion in the Big Sky Derby. Peppys Major Leaguer has a star studded pedigree with performance horses. Freida’s dam, Polliana Peppy earned 1.5 AQHA points in reining with limited showing. Frieda has a pedigree of who’s who with Peppy Badger Chex, Major Bonanza, Cowboy 2 Duster, Quincy Dan, King Fritz, Peppy San Badger, Peppy A Poco, and Doc’s Malbec. This mare combines the foundation with the modern in a great combination. Frieda can really move and has been used on a cattle ranch in Idaho, being shown in 4-H and local shows. KT Copper Comet is another great mare that we raised. She is out of Copper Robin Queen, a great all-around mare and we all rode, we was a great ranch horse, dad roped off of her, Toni and Kellie barrel raced her and Toni showed her in 4H. Comet is by Docs Sizzle Bar, a son of Sizzlin Hot, AQHA H-19/P-29; AQHA Champion, Arena ROM; World Champion Sire, ROM Sire, AQHA Champion Sire, Superior Sire, Youth Supreme Champion Sire. Comet is a big mare that we showed for a while NFQHA and at the county fair. She is one of our favorite mares and we have a hard time selling her foals. She has 3 white socks and a white splash over her eye. Comet’s breeding also includes Shenandoll, Reed King Duster, Ed Echols and more.
