We absolutely love this filly. In fact, we keep talking about keeping her—but our keep list is already far too long, and apparently, we cannot keep them all. Someone else had better buy her before we talk ourselves into making another exception!
KT Sages Uptown Girl is developing into a stout, correct and beautifully balanced filly. She has plenty of hip, strong bone, natural shape and the kind of presence that immediately catches your eye. Add in that gorgeous red dun roan color, and she is awfully hard to overlook.
Her dam, Franks Uptown Zoey, is a sweet, kind gray mare and an absolute pleasure to have around. Zoey is by Frankly Majestic, a son of Too Bee Frank and grandson of Okie Leo. Her dam, Reo Annie Get Yo Gun, is a Major Bonanza granddaughter. This is proven foundation breeding known for versatility, cow sense and usability.
Uptown Girl is sired by KT Gunners Sage Bug, who is by KT Gunpowder N Lead, “Gunner.” Gunner is a roan dunskin son of Cue Bars Laddie, an AQHA point earner and proven producer whose genetics have excelled in reining, cow horse and roping.
Gunner’s dam, Pistol, is a standout NFQHA mare who has been featured in the association’s rule book and magazine. More importantly, she is a dependable ranch and rope horse that the entire family can ride.
Sage Bug’s dam, Continental Lady Bug, is an 81% NFQHA mare by Continental Cad and tracing to Mr Blackburn. She brings strong bone, an outstanding mind, dependable color production and the kind of disposition we want passed down through our program.
Uptown Girl offers:
✔ Gorgeous red dun roan color
✔ A stout, balanced and correct build
✔ Plenty of hip, bone and natural shape
✔ Proven foundation and performance genetics
✔ The mind and versatility to go in any direction
She is bred to become the kind of dependable, good-looking mare everyone wants in their pasture—one that can work on the ranch, rope, compete in the arena or raise outstanding foals later on.
Honestly, selling this one may hurt a little. She is exactly the kind we like to keep.
