I hope everyone has some great plans for the weekend!
Toni reminded me that we need to get the camper pulled into the yard and start packing it for the Benton-Franklin Fair. Fair is right around the corner, whether we are ready for it or not!
We have also started bringing mares and foals up to the house to prepare for weaning. This weekend, we will begin hauling mares out to winter pasture—another sure sign that summer is winding down and fall is sneaking up on us.
To all the kids heading off to college: have fun, work hard, make good choices, and be safe! It is an exciting new chapter, so enjoy every minute of it.
