By the time this posts, I should be back home from Boise! I’m excited to see how much the puppies have grown while I’ve been gone. They’re already getting into everything, so I’m sure they found a little extra trouble in my absence.
Weaning season is right around the corner, and we’re busy getting everything ready. We’re sorting out the foal-weaning schedule, deciding which groups will go where, and moving horses around.
On the cattle side, we bought some freestanding panels to replace one side of the working area that was getting pretty janky. Ben and Anna have been working on that whenever they can find some free time—which isn’t often around here!
Fair season is also coming fast, bringing plenty of preparation, animals to work, and last-minute details to handle.
There’s never much downtime this time of year, but we’re making progress. Have a great weekend, everyone!
