Today wrapped up our run at CBJLS — and Kade and Jaxsen were smart enough to hold back their own personal favorites for Othello, so next week’s fair is going to have some ringers in it.
Around the ranch, we’ve been getting the weaned foals ready to haul out, and the calves are officially all weaned — which around here doesn’t mean quiet, it means a solid week of bawling from both sides of the fence. Now we’re working out the schedule to wean the foals too, so we’re not done yet.
