A few years about we bought a breeding to Starlight Midnight for Stinger. We were never able to keep Stinger in foal to him, she was old when we bought the breeding. We lost Stinger last winter and the Davis Ranch was gracious enough to let us move the breeding to a different mare. So our precious KT Blue Eyed Reba is in foal to Davis Ranch’s Magneticat.
Magneticat is by Metallic Cat and out of Wanda Reywon. He the Montana Reining Cowhorse Derby and placed in the Utah Reining Cowhorse Derby and made the finals in several other derbies during 2016. He has won over 11,000 in the NRCHA in 2016. He is an extremely fancy and exciting stallion. He is a gorgeous red roan color with a lot of bone and size. He has a fantastic mind and he can move around on a cow as nice as any 2-year old that we have started. He is a big stopper with great quickness. He is sired by Metallic Cat who is the hottest young stallion in the cutting horse business. Metallic Cat was the 2010 NCHA Open Horse of the Year and has Lifetime earnings of $574,494. His oldest foals will begin their show careers in the fall of 2013.
Magneticat is the oldest foal out of the outstanding mare Wanda Rey. Wanda Rey has NCHA earnings of $90,000. She is a daughter of Dual Rey and is out of the great mare Stella Starlight who won the NCHA Non Pro Open Futurity and placed 5th in the NCHA Open Futurity in the same year. Stella Starlight won over $310,000 and has produced foals that have earned over $522,000.
