Which stud is the funniest?

Note that the caption is NOT which stud is the best, because we think they are all the best, that is why they are here! Each of these studs has a dynamic personality that has made a permanent place on our ranch for each of them. With breeding season almost at its end, I thought it would be fun to share some of their quirks.  Going oldest to youngest, if I can remember their right age.

  1. Double- Is a total stalker. If you are in his pen, he needs his neck hugged so hard you think your back is going to pop.
  2. Leroy- If you don’t pet him before you go take a dip out in the lake, Leroy will swim out to you to get petted. He wants to be invited to every party.
  3. Colonel- Loves shoes and human feet.
  4. Dude- Is a babysitter of any foal and loves to eat raspberries off of the raspberry bush.
  5. Gunner- hasn’t met a trailer that he won’t load into, if you want him to or not.
  6. Jackpot- Still young enough that he thinks he is still a foal and wants to be treated like one and play with the foals out in his field.
  7. Sagebug- Believes that vehicles are his scratching post and has broke the driver’s side mirror off of Toni’s pu. He also has been known to put his head in pu windows and eat items off of the seat.

We have some real characters out here.

Pretty roan babies!

CueTeeJune2020-1

Although I don’t think we are known for producing roan foals, we seem to have quite a few! We have a couple of roan fillies for sale, that are black based with phenomenal pedigrees. KT Shine on a Dime is out of Bishop and Sissy, we have kept 2 half sisters to this filly that we have ridden on the ranch. She is priced at $3000. KT Shining Cue Tee is out of Bishop and a money earning mare,  Cue Bars Cue Tee, and could potentially be hz black and hz roan. She is priced at $3500.00.

KT Warrior Bug is a grulla roan, that could be hz for roan and is the only foal we have left out of Sagebug for sale until 2021. This is a fancy colt and can be purchased in a 3-way package.  $3500.00 War June 2020-3

Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads in our life!

We can’t thank these fathers enough for being part of our lives. Some are more essential than others, but we love them all. We sell babies out of some of these fathers, we will leave it up to you to decide which ones!

Need a father’s day gift? We have some good options.

There isn’t a better present than a foal! Of course that is just my opinion. We have some left for anyone needing a last minute present that will make their father happy. The reality is that the foal might be for you, but  you can say it is for your father!

How do you pick your favorite?

You don’t! These three fillies all are outstanding. They are all on our list of fillies that we would love to keep, but we can’t keep them all. Mayday is the eldest,  but just a bit. She is out of a Cue Bars Laddie daughter and Leroy, so performance pedigree deluxe. She has a huge hip, that “look at me” eye appeal, and is just fancy. $3000. Dime is just 3 days younger, and is out of our Sissy mare that we have already kept two daughters out of,  and Bishop. She is a stunning bay/brown roan. She floats as she moves, super curious, and is going to fit someone that wants to work. $3000. Cue Tee is also out of a Cue Bars Laddie daughter, one that Allison Trimble of the Coastal Equine breeding program had NRCHA and NRHA money earned on. Cue Tee is out of Bishop and is either really dark brown or blue roan. This filly has more of an elegant look, but plenty of muscle and moves. $3500.00
