KT Miss Vanna Jean, “Jean,” is our first foal of the year, she is named after our niece Savannah who shares a birthday. This cute filly is out of KT Gunz N Roses,”Ro,” and by Doll Docsan, “Leroy.” Ro is by Silver Gun and out of KT Major Shasta Dais. Silver Gun was a phenomenal stallion by Playgun and out of Miss Freckles Reed. Siver Gun has 100+ AQHA Points in Heeling, Heading, Working Cow Horse, Reining, and he was an AQHA Reserve Champion Superhorse, AQHA Champion, Sr. Heeling, AQHA Top Ten Finalist, Sr. Heading (7th), PCQHA Champion, Heeling, PCQHA Champion, Working Cow Horse, PCQHA Reserve Champion, Heeding, AQHA Performance Register of Merit is many divisions. KT Major Shasta Dais is be Zinks Major Kid. She goes back to Sonnys OO Buck, Docs Superstar Bar, Major Bonanza, Skipper W, and many more. Leroy is a stallion with a performance packed pedigree along with a very good disposition. He was a very smooth ride with tremendous talent, beautiful movement and huge stop. He was quiet and trainable which he passes along to his foals; he consistently produces fantastic foals with looks, color, conformation and brains. Leroy has produced 1 foal that has NRHA earnings. He has a lot of bone and a big hip. He was trained by Brett Losekeand Joe Hayes but his show career was very limited due to an injury. His colts are very pretty and have a lot of ability. Zinks Major Kid was shown at local show before we got him. He was a producer of cow horses and performance horses and his foals continue to live on in many arenas. KT King Walthari, “Walt,” is a fancy grullo (roan?) colt that is named after our Uncle Walt, they share a birthday. Walt is out of KT Copper Queen Cleo and by KT Gunners Sage Bug. Cleo is one of our favorite mares, she is out of our first foal crop by Docs Sizzle Bar. Her dam was an awesome all-around horse, Copper Queen Robin. Dad roped off of Robin, she was used as a ranch horse, Toni barrel raced off of her and she was shown 4H. She was not used as a brood mare until she was in her 20s.
