Training Tip from the AQHA Ranching Newsletter

“Look up! When you come across the middle of the pen (reining or ranch riding), look up where you’re going. When you get ready to change leads and go the other way, look that direction and take your horse with you. It’s just like driving down the highway. If you’re not looking where you’re going, I don’t want to be on the highway with you.” – A tip from trainer Chris Jeter at a Stock Horse of Texas clinic.
