KT Blackie War Chex

KT Blackie War Chex is out of Pics Bar Bee, “Blackie,” and is by Kings Power Chex. Blackie is a black 2002 daughter of Pic Remedy, an own son of Doc’s Remedy, out of a Willie War Chic bred mare. This mare has many greats on her papers including Doc Bar, Teresa Tivio, Sugar Vandy, War Chic, and Deck Oiler to name some. She is bred for performance and run and has that look. Very keen head, square body, and a great personality. Blackie loves attention and is easy to be around. With a pedigree like Blackie’s it would be hard to go wrong to add her to the herd. Kings Power Chexs is a black stallion out of Idaho. This is his last foal crop, so the last chance to get a colt by this stud. Kings Power Chexs carried the powerful bloodlines of Fritz Dee, the AQHA Champion by King Fritz, as well as Tiger Leo and Johhnny Dial. Again, the great combination of run and performance that should make this colt stand out in any crowd. This is a foundation bred colt on the top side, with some really good old school running blood on the bottom. He should be fast and have turn. KT Docs Showdown is out of Docs Peppy Anna and is by Just Plain Starlight. Docs Peppy Anna is by Little Peppy Conger who is an NCHA money earner of $9,184.08. He has his NCHA Certificate of Ability, 1993 NWCHA Reserve Champion Open Horse LTE over $25,000. He is a son of Peppy San Badger. Little Peppy Conger’s dam is Patty Solano has won $5,520.53 in NCHA and has won her COA. Just Plain Starlight is a son of Tamalight and is out of Wright on Sugarnic, winner of the Cascade Cutter’s Futurity. This is a great pedigreed colt with a pedigree including Tamalight, Lenas Wright On, Little Peppy Conger, Patty Solano and more. He has a big blaze, three white socks, and a tail that is white on the underneath. He is VERY uniquely colored, tons of bone and size. These colts are born friendly and smart, with athletic ability. KT Starlight N Sox

Friday and Nugget

Nugget and Friday are full sister and brother. They are by Just Plain Starlight and out of Docs Peppy Anna (whose the bay mare in the background in the picture without Kaine). Nugget was started last year by Jake and Andee in SE Idaho and Friday will be two this year. We are excited to see how she turns out, this is a great cross and we love these foals. One of Peppy’s other colts, “KT,” it at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch in Sandpoint, Id.

KT Major Stinger Bee is a cute filly that was born June 9, 2015 and is by Zinks Major Kid and out of Wright on Sugarinic, “Stinger.”‘ This filly is bred to the hilt; her dam, Stinger, won Pro division of the Cascade Cutters Futurity and is an own daughter of Lenas Wright On. Her dam, Just Plain Sugari has NCHA earnings of $111.31 and is an AQHA point earner. She is a granddaughter of Smart Little Lena, Slide Me Again and Just Plain Colonel, who are all money and pt earners. She is also the dam of our Stallion, Just Plain Starlight. Top side, this filly is by the late, great, Zinks Major Kid, who is by John Zink, an AQHA Pts Earner and earner of 67 Palomino Halter pts and119 Palomino Performance Pts. Zink’s dam, Sheza Major Star, was also shown AQHA. Zink has Major Bonanza, Skipper W, Quincy Dan and more in his pedigree. This filly is going to a performance deluxe.

Had a great time showing people around today. We had two planned groups and two nonscheduled. We are very happy that Dreamy, Neon and Smash are all going to be going to the Mitchell Family in Coulee City.

Over the Weekend

We also had to go out and get Miss Piggy and Lulu out of Gunner’s pen over the weekend. When we pull the trailer out there Gunner likes to load up in it, which I thought I had a picture of this but I could not find one, so it makes it a lot easier to catch the horses out there. Lulu loaded up with him so we just locked her in and Toni was able to catch Miss Piggy. It was pretty hot last weekend so we did not hang out and take many pictures.
