Summer stands 14.3h and is 4 years old. I bought her with intentions as a project horse for me and my daughter. She is broke to ride and has 4 months professional training. Summer needs a consistent firm hand to not let her get away with things. She’s super sweet and is the first to come to us in the pasture. I have recently submitted her DNA sample to see if she can be double registered as a paint as well. She is an easy keeper with front shoes. I have trail rode her about 5 times and have crossed water with her. She likes to go out front but will follow. In a group of mares she was content going off on our own! We have also done arena work and starting her on gaming and poles. We continue to do round pen training, changing directions and desensitizing. I.e tarps, whips, fly sprays, etc. As much as I want to see out my goal of training her, I would like to find something ready to go for my daughter and her 4h program. She’s only 8 and a green rider herself.
