Hereford/Braford Heifers

502T and 503T are Toni’s twins that were born on New Years Day. They are AI calves and their sire is BB Mark Donald 3007 and their dam is a 626S daughter. They are Drew, on the right, and Demi, on the left. Demi was raised by an Angus cow.

508T is fancy heifer by BB Mark Donald 3007 and is out of a cow that we bought from BB Cattle Co. This is a heifer with a lot of eye appeal, she has a lot of depth of body and nice straight lines. She has tremendous bone and is going to be phenomenal cow.

513T is out of “Mo,”a cow that we purchased from Mohican West in 2014 bred to Boyd Powerhouse 2028. Mo is out of PW Victor Boomer P606, a great up and coming bull by Remitall Boomer 46B. Mo is out of a Victor bred cow. Mo was bred by Forrest Polled Herefords in South Carolina and is typical of a Forrest cow, she is a very heavy milking cow. This heifer’s dam is owned by Mohican West, Boyd Powerhouse 2028.

518T is Jaxsen’s Hereford heifer, “Cutie.” She is out of 2082B, or Heify, is Jaxsen’s cow, she was shown in 2013 at the Summer Sizzle in Connell. Heify is out the the Bowen 3027 son, out of a 626S daughter. Very big bodied cow, which is somewhat of a surprise considering that very modern 626S and 3027. Heify’s dam is out of a 4033 7Z cow, and Heify seems to be falling back on those old genetics with her big bone and growthiness. With all of her size, she was a 74 lb actual bw with a 2.1 bw epd, 50 ww, and 91 yw. Very good numbers on this cow. Cutie’s sire is BB 7127 Rock Solid 1081 is by Churchhill Neon 7138T ET and is out of a Yankee cow.
